Jamal Ali has gotten back into the groove of performing live around Spokane. Fusing contemporary R&B with classic soul, hip-hop, and even taking inspiration from classic rock and modern country, he certainly sees every musical genre as a potential influence. His voice is clear and melodic, drawing influence from the likes of Stevie Wonder. Lyrically, he can display a humble, self-deprecating sense of humor, particularly in his song "Beautifully Ugly."
