Curran Long has been working on his tunes in private for a while and is now ready to showcase them. His guitar finger-picking and songwriting are both intimate and complex. He tends to perform at a rather quiet dynamic, working in some rather sophisticated chord progressions as well. Lyrically, he touches on themes of spirituality and friendship. Curran is part of the Long/O'Neill musical dynasty, a multi-generational family of fine local musicians. Early last year, he supported his brother Kevin on the Local Lounge. Lately, he's been performing in his cover band Troubadour and honing his own originals. This Sunday, Curran Long will bring his acoustic guitar and some home-made recordings to the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge.
