Mark Ward's message is all about hope. He frequently uses light as a metaphor in his songs, representing his desire to bring hope into people's lives and push through adversity. He sings with a clear tenor voice, demonstrating incredible sustain that cuts through to your soul. With every new CD he releases, he makes a subsequent stop by the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge, as he did before in the spring of 2009 with his EP "Little Lights" and on November 11th, 2007 with his previous EP "Broken." Mark's latest appearance was on August 22nd, where he played a couple tracks from his full length CD "Through The Dark" and performed several songs live in the Local Lounge, featuring kick drum on a couple tunes.
