The ONLY Christmas music you'll hear on our station!

If you missed out on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra coming to Spokane a few weeks ago, here's your chance to see a Spokane band that draws heavily from their inspiration.  Midnight Cry got their start in 2004, primarily playing covers of TSO's arrangements.  As time passed, they created some of their own amped-up, epic arrangements of classic Christmas tunes, plus a few entirely new songs.  They have also drawn upon other progressive influences, including Dream Theatre.  Regardless of musical influence or song authorship, their delivery is always a bombastic experience, from gentle piano and string lines to blazing guitar solos, with a duo of angelic female vocals at the front.  Midnight Cry is a seasonal band, so you better catch them while you can.  They will perform live at The Bing this Sunday the 19th, with Cami Bradley opening the show.  To get the word out, they came by the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this past Sunday, fully armed with two guitars, two keyboards (piano and strings), bass, drums, and two singers...eight musicians in all!  They performed a few songs live on our stage and spun several cuts from their new CD, to be released at their upcoming concert.
