Bringing guitars, mandolin, and a flute to the Local Lounge!

Janet Johnson got into folk and bluegrass in high school, picking up the guitar and mandolin, eventually learning songwriting as she networked with other musicians.  Later she rounded out her musical skills as she got her Commercial Music/Jazz Studies/Audio Engineering degree at SFCC.  Her musical style is as bright and sunny as her personality, both of which shone brilliantly when she came by the Local Lounge this past Sunday.  Janet was accompanied by Eddie Taylor III on flute (1st ever flautist on the show) and Charles Tappa on electric guitar.  They performed several songs live on our stage with Janet on acoustic guitar.  She even brought our her mandolin for a solo tune, in addition to spinning a few CD cuts.
