Since his last visit to the Local Lounge a year and a half ago, Steven Wylie has performed solo around town and played drums in Ancient Greece Monkey. He recently returned from a six month stay in Nashville, where he has gained new insight into another vein of songwriting and the music biz in general. His lyrics are earnest and his voice strong, with a gritty edge in the quiet range and the ability to soar over the chord progression when singing aloud.
Steven Wylie came by the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge once again this past Sunday to spin a few cuts from his CD "Don't Tread on Me" and perform several songs live with his friend Eddie Ramirez, a Spokane multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer/producer whose influence can be hear in many local bands and their CDs.
