Nate Greenburg brings an arsenal of skills to each musical performance. Having grown up with classic rock as a primary influence and later getting into the realms of jazz, classical, and world music, it becomes clear that his inspiration is constantly evolving. The resulting sound is one of airy, epic folk with a progressive edge. Around town, you can see him perform continually at restaurants and coffee shops. He employs a loop pedal, allowing him to layer his acoustic guitar in live performance, adding a bass line, chord progression, lead parts, and guitar-slapping percussion to create a sometimes dense wall of sound. This, coupled with his haunting, understated vocals lead to a unique presentation.
Nate brought his acoustic guitar, loop pedal, and voice to Spokane's 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this past Sunday, performing several songs live in the studio and spinning a few of his own recordings.
