She's back on the show just before releasing her new CD and moving far away!
Kristen Marlo first stopped by the Local Lounge on October 28th, 2007. She had already established herself locally and has just gotten better since. She performs both as a solo singer-songwriter and sometimes with a full band, frequently with Dave Hannon. Sometimes simple, sometimes epic (listen to "Separation Anxiety"), her songs deal with the subtleties of relationships. She has a couple more shows in Spokane this week, including a CD release show at Caterina Winery this Friday, before moving to the east coast. She dropped by the Local Lounge one more time this past Sunday in support of her new CD and upcoming show. She played a few songs live solo-style in the Local Lounge plus spun a few cuts from her new CD "Death, Love & Ice Cream," which features guest vocals from Dave Hannon and Caroline Francis.
