From his formative years in India to settling down in Spokane, Dirk Lind has seen it all. After a childhood immersed in classical and Indian music, it was punk rock that truly opened the door for Dirk as a songwriter. He has witnessed both profound beauty and hardship, and he isn't afraid to express both in his songs. Even when tackling darker subjects, he still exposes a thread of hope to the listener. His regular Thursday night gig at Luxe Coffee House and summertime busking allow him to reach both an intimate audience and the open-minded passer-by. This Sunday Dirk Lind will spin tracks from his solo CD "Division Street" and perform some songs live in the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge.
