Fantastic & sarcastic rock 'n' roll!

The Camaros either love to celebrate contradictions or simply find inspiration from unlikely places.  Mark is a true Renaissance Man: he's a father, the husband of bassist Kristin, a Lewis & Clark High School English teacher, an actor in Northern Quest Resort & Casino TV commercials...and a crazy singer in a local rock band?  The Camaros are a melting pot filled with rock 'n' roll from the past 50+ years.  The lyrics are deeply satirical.  Mark delivers them with an intensity and style that varies from a street thug to a jaded rocker to a big-tent preacher.  His acting skills, witty jabs, and oratory abilities from his other occupations are used to full effect, augmented by some retro keyboard sounds.  Eric, also a teacher at LCHS, provides the catchy, crunchy guitar riffs along with backing vocals.  Rob supplies the powerhouse drumming and Kristin lays down some in-the-pocket yet melodic bass lines.  They just released their CD "Ladies?" with two back-to-back (and packed) sets at The Baby Bar/Neato Burrito this past Saturday.  The Camaros will bring the same full-band sound to the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this Sunday, with live songs and CD cuts.
