With new members come new sounds, and The Horse Thieves are in the process of adding to their ranks.  Since their last appearance on the Local Lounge, Adam's brother Jordan joined on the drums.  From a rather mellow approach bloomed a huge increase in energy.  Marshall has added the lap steel to his repertoire and Fawn has added some haunting backing vocals to such songs as "Empire."  Stylistically, they managed to add more electric and indie influences to their folksy, alt-country approach.  Even more recently, Jordan switched to guitar and Tiffany Stevens will soon take over drumming duties.   Having finished their "Outlaw Ballads" CD, they went to work on their next effort "Valley of Decision."  This Friday at The Bing they will release both CDs simultaneously.  To get the word out, they returned to the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this past Sunday to perform some live songs and spin tracks from their latest CD.
