Pete and Amanda Wells, the husband and wife at the front of The Perennials, lend some deep and haunting vocal harmonies, with Pete's baritone register rarely explored by contemporary bands.  Pete also plays guitar and Amanda adds keyboard bass.  Branden (formerly of Unison and Stockholm) uses the latest in keyboard technology to faithfully emulate the sounds of vintage analog/electro-mechanical organs, pianos, and tape samplers.  Mark lays down some beautifully ambient guitar flourishes while Aaron's responsive drumming and additional vocal harmonies round out this ensemble.  Having just finished their CD "Stories", based on classic children's tales and mixed by Caleb from Cathedral Pearls, The Perennials will get the word out about their CD release/farewell concert by spinning some tracks and performing several songs live as a full band this Sunday on the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge.
