![]() From a solo project featuring LaVella on keyboard and guitar, Wonder Wonder has recently grown to a trio. With Shane's warm, melodic basslines (plus occasional glockenspiel) and Jake's Bonham-esque drumming added to the mix, an eclectic indie-pop style has emerged. LaVella has a subtly soulful delivery to her vocals, which she accompanies on a 40+ year old Wurlitzer electric piano, which she sometimes swaps for a hollow-body electric guitar. Having only performed two live shows as a full band so far (including Pig Out at the Park), they have already caught the ears of the local music scene, earning a place in this year's Terrain, a free multi-media arts festival. To get the word out, Wonder Wonder will drop by the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this Sunday to perform eight songs live as a full band.
