Tommy Gantt, better known as Tommy G from the 509, has been focusing on music in the year since his last appearance on the Local Lounge.  He remains an advocate for the oppressed and a whistle-blower against those in power, in league with Harpman Hatter.  However, he has managed to root himself deeper into the Spokane music scene lately, particularly with the invitational jam he hosts every Thursday at Ugly Bettie's Public House and his band-in-progress called The Legends after Eleven.  When Tommy returned to the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this past Sunday, he focused on tender ballads and love songs, performing a half-dozen tunes live in the studio and spinning a couple tracks from his 2009 self-produced CD "Upstarts & Old Farts."
