Aaron, James, and Andy Birdsall formed Flying Mammals in 2009 after each member had spent time in various groups.  After living and performing in Chicago, one-by-one they moved back to Coeur d'Alene.  Aaron started Audio Jerk Records and performed in the group Black and Tann, featured on the Local Lounge in mid 2007.  Eventually, the stage was set for the Birdsall brothers to start their own band.  Since then, they have been writing songs and working on a CD.  Currently, their single "GO!" is creating interest with its slick production and catchy, piano-laden rock.  Aaron sings lead and switches between keys and fuzz-tone bass.  James plays guitar while Andy, the little bro, drums.  Both James and Andy contribute vocal harmonies.  This Sunday they will bring their full, electric set-up to the Local Lounge and perform a half-dozen songs live in the studio, plus spin their single "GO!"
