Having completed her new CD "Topographies," Liz Rognes is set to tour her native Midwest and current home, the Northwest.  She has a strong, pure soprano voice that combines classical and soulful elements in a folksy framework.  Liz uses this to full effect, along with her acoustic guitar and harp, to convey songs of life and self-determination.  Her appearance on the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge this Sunday will promote her album release concert at Jones Radiator on Friday the 13th, with Wonder Wonder and Trickster Fox.  She will be accompanied, both on the radio and in concert, by Jason Johnson on electric guitar, Rajah Bose on fiddle, and Matt Loi on bass.*  Liz Rognes is still deciding upon a name for her backing band, so feel free to suggest one (or many) using the Facebook comment section at the bottom of this article.

*a note from the producer:
Yes, I have the honor of playing the bass guitar (and even delivering some backing vocals) with Liz Rognes, both on this Sunday's radio broadcast and at her Spokane album release concert!  She asked me to do so, and I simply couldn't refuse.  I'm doing this all for free, to support an awesome local musician.

Sincerely,
~Matt Loi
