Responsible for all station computer systems. Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades during maintenance windows addressing patching, security fixes. Install, maintain, troubleshoot & repair computer equipment and systems. Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, and UPSs. Resolve technical problems for critical systems with regard to security, performance, recovery, management and/or usage to company standards. Setup, maintenance and operation of RCS Nexgen digital audio storage systems. Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports. Will participate in a rotating on-call coverage schedule, with occasional night, morning and weekend work. Setup and maintain streaming systems and AOIP. Assist engineering in the setup, maintenance and operation of HD radio systems. Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Report all issues and recommend capital upgrade to engineering manager. Assist engineering in the setup, maintenance RBDS and HD data applications. Supervise compliance with Clear Channel Media + Entertainment Corporate IT policies and practices. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Job Requirements: 3+ years experience in technical support role. Vast knowledge of Microsoft operating systems required: Cisco, Dell and HP hardware, IOS, Android and Blackberry Operating Systems, MS Office Systems including MS Outlook. VOIP phone systems. Excellent customer service skills are required; must be extremely organized and detail oriented. Must be able to work at remote transmitter sites as needed, climb ladders, and lift at least 50 lbs. Excellent driving record is required along with a current Washington State driver’s license.
